go with an H pipe if you want deep and Longtubes will help a lot too. I think a catted midpipe will make it even deeper rather than and O/R pipe not 100% sure on that.

But honestly man, I would do LT's, midpipe and catback all at the same time if you can afford it all because if later down the line you want to go longtubes you will need to get a different size midpipe. so it'll save you money in the long run. however the amount of money you spend on all 3 of thoughs is not going to really be worth the power you will get out of it but it's a nice increase and worth it IMO.

if you want deep go with h pipe for sure. i just changed out my midpipe from o/r x to o/r h and its much deeper. i also have the lm but it sounds MUCH better with an h instead of an x. the x with lm are waaaayyy to raspy for me.

and if you end up going with h, the summit o/r h is inexpensive and fits in awesome. it actually tucked under a tad bit more than my upr o/r x

Flowmaster chambered exhaust will add a little back pressure and more interior noise, than the straight through perforated core magnapak mufflers from Magnaflow.

so magnapacks are a good choice, i want the aggressive deep rumble, so would an h or x pipe be better, it doesnt really matter to me wether its catted or not, i just want a cheap midpipe that will fit well and give me the aggressiveness i want, any suggestions on a h/x pipe , most ppl dont like there cars to be way loud and stuff but personally i love the sound of a very loud muscle car

Do an o/r h pipe then. They sound a lot better then and o/r x pipe. They sound a lot more of american muscle. Take the cats off. Its just one more thing for the government trying to control our lifes! Let your car breath!

the H pipe and the X pipe sound on the Magnapacks is a very different sound.

my combos I've had:

Mac O/R H pipe/ Magnapacks- Deep, throaty, sounds great, muscle car sounding
LT/O/R X pipe/ Magnapacks- very smooth sounding, hardly no rasp, and more of a Nascar sound to it. Keep in mind the LT's take out Rasp.

So it really comes down to if you want your car to sound more deep/muscle car sounding or more like a race car I guess I would describe it.

LT/X pipe/ Magnapacks/Cam:

Very Similar sounding to the magnapacks but this is the only good quality vid I can find with the car driving for a while with an X. But practically the same sound.

O/R X pipe/ Magnapacks

O/R H pipe/Magnapacks:

stock catted H pipe/ magnapacks:

Keep in mind youtube videos are only a guideline, most of these cameras don't pick up the actual sound. If you can hear an X or H in person that is your best bet.

I've had both setups and love them both. at first going from an H to and X pipe I was not too happy with the sound. but over time I've learned to love it. Two completely different sounds though. However LT changed much of the sound as well, but I think the LT's just took a lot of the rasp out overall.

Most people do X pipes.

But In my opinion if I was NOT going long tubes I would do Magnapacks and H pipe. If I were to do Long tubes again, I don't think I could pick between and H and an X. They both sound great with Long tubes.

But from what you are saying, it sounds like you are more of an H pipe kind of a guy. And Magnapacks are LOUD, don't let anyone fool you.
