I could have got stainless steel, but Im goin to put some sort of metal tubing around the hose to protect it. Chances are this wont happen again, it was more of a freak accident to be honest. But car will be running tonight. Im more than positive I didnt do any harm to the motor/supercharger but that thought is still in the back of my mind.

Wish me luck
Nice... what's the new line made of? For $8 you'll need to post details if it holds up.

I dug out my copper hard line to send you but unfortunately it was bent and kinked.

Thanks for the kind words man!

The BOV is a knock off Greddy BOV, but it sounds mean. I like it a lot. No compressor surge between that and the Bosch BPV

Got the car running today. I used some Purple Power degreaser and hosed the oil down from everywhere....literally everywhere. Midpipe, K-Member, front brakes, motor etc....

Replaced my oil feed line, took out my oil drain fitting, cleaned it and re-sealed it with some Copper RTV, put some T-Clamps on. Starter her up, burnt off some excess oil.

Took it out for a ride, seems fine. Just need to put my new belt on.

I think when your purposley listening for stuff, you think you hear other things. My exhaust has a tiny leak and you can hear it under a load, like 4th gear going around a turn. And I kept thinking motor? But nah, just the exhaust....

So thank god its okay. My motor takes a beaten. 3 or 4 times from 3rd to 2nd at WOT (missed 4th) gas pedal got stuck and bounced off my 6,800 rev limiter for a couple seconds, then losing a good 3qts of oil. And still runs good. Although I lost alot of the oil after it had been shut off. If anything it would have hurt the supercharger the most.

The connections are the weak point not the hose, i had a hard rubber hose from Autozone rated to 200psi that went from my motor to my oil pressure gauge and when it got hot it went soft and started squirting oil out in between the inside of the hose and outside of the brass fitting with a worm gear clamp on it. You need a hydraulic hose with hydraulic pressed on fittings and you wont ever have that problem again. I learned that by experience. And for the BOV hose you could get someone to Knurl the metal with a lathe so the soft hose has something to grab on to.

Id rather the fitting be brass, rather then harder metal an strip the oil pan. Fuck that

man, the best tool i have found for a supercharged 4.6 is a stethoscope... you can get them at autozone for less than 20 bucks. What makes them so nice is that you can isolate a noise very easily. When my passenger lash adjusters lost prime it sounded just like an exhaust leak from inside the car. i got a stethoscope and listened to the whole motor and could hear a louder noise coming from the pass side head. Took the valve cover off and found the problem.
