my rwhp/torque
so i have a 1999 mustang gt, theres no real dyno shop around here for me to have easy access to so i was wondering if ya'll could throw me a guesstimate of my rwhp and torque, i have no big mods just mostly boltons
i have 3:73 gears PP 75mm tb PP upper plenum CAI Performance underdrive pullies Throttle body spacer (doubt this makes a difference just adding it in since i have very little done and feel bad ![]() mmm BBK O/R Hpipe My cars tuned aswell, havent messed with my programmer since the guy before me had just tuned it, its a part #41005 hypertech 3 , not sure what its set on or how it works really, im not sure if it ones of the tuners that has 3 set tunes, for economy, street, and track, but im guessing its on street, thats about all my bolttons and my cars a 5 spd, prolly low numbers but i figured its better than being stock

15% parasitic loss for manual and 18% for an automatic.
So at 260hp and 302tq at the crank, thats 226rwhp/262rwtq for a manual, and 220rwhp/256rwtq for an automatic stock.

And to the OP, I would rate you at around 245hp/285tq to the wheels.

I've read about stock dynos of automatics at 208-213 rwhp. And some say that a manual has 12-13% parasitic loss. My experience says its a little more. But they were all on a different day, different dyno.

I'm basing my given numbers off an average of what I have heard. Some would say that an auto has a 20% parasitic loss which would be closer to your numbers. I've heard of it being 18% so, being as I have an auto, I'd rather believe my car has 220hp than 213hp.
![]() My car is mildly modded though so I'd guess I'm at 225hp/265tq to the wheels.

A cold day at sea level on a Dynojet will give you the best numbers.

Your math is off some. The results are actually 221rwhp/256.7rwtq through a manual, and 213.2rwhp/247.64rwtq according to your parasitic loss percentages.

Eh, Internet calculator for ya. 260/1.15 and 302/1.15 for the manual is what I did. Prolly did it wrong trying to skip the subtracting part. Did the same for auto but with 1.18 instead.
