My car is jerking and hesitating through rpms.

At first I thought it was my transmission (auto), so I checked the fluid and found a brown smudge on the dip stick and barely any fluid. So I add some lucas but Im still having the same problem. So I took it to a mechanic and he checked it out. He told me i have a misfire and that my coil packs could be to blame.

Now my CEL isnt on and I dont know which one it is. What should i do? I dont feel like doing a witch hunt. :[

If you had barely any fluid and brown sludge i would change your fluid and filter and add some lucas, might not fix ur problem but sounds like it needs done

It's weird tho cause I changed the filter 20,000 miles ago. But I'll have to look at it when I get the time.
