Help. Removal of the coolant cross over tube.

how do you remove the coolant cross over tube? on the 4v or 96 Mark Viii.
theres two screws under it holding the intake manifold.

I'm not sure how similar the 96 would be to my 99 Cobra but when I pulled mine there were two bolts and then the tube is just pressed in with one o-ring on each side. I just used a long ratchet extension and wedged it under the tube in order to lever it out of the holes. I levered it up a little on each side, a little at a time in order to keep it from binding.

its gonna take some brute force probably.

once you take out the 2 bolts on either side, all thats holding it in are the 2 o-rings. mine was a royal PITA to get off. it took a base ball bat and alot of weight to get it to pop out. when you put it back in, make sure to clean up the bottom of the tube and where it slides in. also, i used a bit of silicone grease on mine and it went back on almost effortlessly.
