$500 to spend

Well I got a $500 check in the mail. Kind of suprised me but hey oh well.

I got an 02 GT and its all stock.

I am going to get one of the following:

Performance:
-JLT CAI and Xcal2
-H Pipe with flows
-LT's with hpipe and flows if I can get a great deal.

Visual:
-Tint 20%, Grill Delete, Chin Spoiler
-18" Black DD Bullitt Rims

What do you guys recommend of those? I am leaning toward the CAI and Xcal2.

Mac pro-chamber and any other exhaust than flows. Everybody has flows and there is no point in buying an after market exhaust to still sound like everyone else.

Very true.....

The think is this....I want more sound...DEEP sound...

But I want performance also...So im stuck between getting the Sound and a little hp.tq gain or go with the CAI and tune and get more gains from that.

I think you'd see more gains by redoing the entire exhaust than you would from a CAI and a tuner. With your current mods I don't know how beneficial a tuner would be to you right now. A tuner will be more beneficial with a couple more mods, but no need to rush that for now.

Ok so youve talked me into getting the MAC prochamber. But what would you suggest for the rest of the exhaust other than Flowmaster(love the sound, but EVERYONE has them)

Borla?
Mags?
Loudmouth?

All good choices in their own way.

Borla exhaust sound F'in awsome!
Magnapacks are what I have, so I'm a little biased.
SLP LM are good ONLY if you buy the SLP LM 2, not 1!

My vote is to get some 4.10s! The cost to get them installed really depends, but I bet you could get them and installed for around 500 bucks. It will be one of the best mods you will do!

Very good point, but I prefer to have a nice sounding Mustang if I can't have the fastest. LOL

Flows sound much better with a H pipe than a X, and evrything sounds good with a prochamber. I never said Flows sound bad, I just said they sound typical. Who wants to spend all that money replacing their stock exhaust to still sound like every other Mustang?

Its to the point with me that I don't like the sound of flows. They do sound better then stock, but between that fact that everyone has them and the drone frrom 1700 to 2100 rpms drives me crazy.

+1 on the gears... it cost me just under $500 for everything.

If your looking for exhaust.... go with the MAC prochamber and some magnapacks (or go like me with the Steeda cat-back, it's a little less known, but it gives a GREAT, deep sound.)

The packs and the prochamber would probably sound good together. I knew you were going to throw something Steeda in there.

Yeah I was thinking about gears but I drive about 75 miles a day for my job. 4:10's would be awesome but the gas mileage would be even worse than what it is right now. Sure it will make my car quicker but I want a deep agressive sounding exhaust.

But hell i dont know.....So many things to do...so little money.
