there isnt a liter difference..... There both 4.6L motors..The mark is 4v instead of 2v obviously. Ive read that with a tune, cai, exhaust and the cobra intake you can make like 300rwhp which is equal to a full bolt (possibly with cams) on GT

you'd have to jump into cams and prob/maybe long tubes to get 300 in a 2v, I may be the only who thinks cams arent bolt ons, a little more involving job

i dont think longtubes/shorties should be considered bolt ons. thats alot of fucking work for a "bolt on"

i got a few nice ford tools that make cam swaps a cake walk, timing cover stays on and everything. So nice workin on these cars with the Ford tools. Not that theres a tool for the long tubes, thats just experience. Can have the subframe down and out in like 30 min.
I should whore up craigslist offering installs, I think im onto something lol

One tool bolts to the timing cover and holds the cam gear still while you break the bolt loose(when needed). The other tool goes down into the timing cover and opens the tensioner so you can take the chain off the cam with the timing cover on.

how diffucult would it be to convert it over to a return style fuel system?
i thought the B heads were good for boosted cars, and with a port job they should flow like a MOFO right?

B heads have a lot of port volume on the intake side, and you should be really careful as far as porting goes. C heads > B heads in the normal rpm range that your car is likely to see. It takes a lot of boost or rpms before the B heads extra port volume starts helping instead of hurting.

Thank You EVERYONE!!!
![]() keep the comments comming lol. i say we bump this thread until it gets stickied too ![]() or at least until it gets put into a How-To or something. to answer some of the questions in here. the Mark motor has the same exhaust cams as the 96-98 Cobra's. the difference in the two motors is the intake cams. the Cobras are more aggressive and make great top end power. the Mark is aimed more at low end. they have basically the same cam specs as the 03/04 cobras actually if i remember correctly. with a short runner intake on an ALL STOCK mark motor (heads/cams) i should break the 300rwhp mark. most people average right around 300-304. with 96-98 Cobra intake cams i would be right around 315-320rwhp but i must admit i'm a little freightened to do cams in a 4v lol. and about everyone who asked about sound clips/videos. i dont have any YET but next spring i do plan to get track times and videos to go with everything. I'm running those FRPP headers/Mac off-road H/Flow 40's and it sounds SICKKK
