Nitrous Question: Nozzle vs TB Plate

I have a 99 Mustang GT that I'm looking to add a bit of Nitrous to. My dilema is which way to deliver the nitrous, via a throttle body plate or via a nozzle in the air intake tube before the tb.

I'm planning a wet system. From what I've read the more atomized and mixed the NO2 is with the Fuel the better.

My question is which system provides a better mix or does it even make a difference? Is one vs the other better at resisting puddling?

Thanks for any insight.

And if this has been discussed and I missed it in my search, sorry for the repeat.

the plate kit will prevent puddling a little bit better but anything under a 200 shot you really don't have to worry about anyways if you go a good fuel pump. I am looking for a plate to replace my nozzle so i can run a 200 shot since i am going to have a seperate fuel system for it.

Good info.
Thanks!

Have you seen these plates?

Not sure how well they work, but the price isn't bad.

i have the n/x plate on mine, no problems here. i am in the process of getting larger nitrous jets which will get me up to a 120-125 shot.

Sweet.
I spent most of the weekend drooling over various nitrous kits. The main battle was between NX plate kit ($$) and building my own kit from using DynoTune Nitrous parts. (small $$)

Just means I'll be patient and save the extra cash and get the right kit the first time. :-)

It funny how once you start modding these cars, you can't stop. I'm going to have to get a few extra jobs to support my habit.

Thanks for the advise all!

You could grind down your EGR port, weld the hole up, drill and tap a port, and install your nozzle in the back side of the TB.

You should PM Chad (crazylegs). He has been offering very nice deals on N2O kits.
