how do I adjust clutch height?

the clutch sits about 1 1/2 inches higher than the brake pedal and I would like it to be atleast even.. It came with a steeda quadrant and firewall adjuster and I have no idea how to adjust it!

Those are good parts, and you need them, but they do not adjust the pedal height. They only adjust where the clutch engages, ie; closer to the floor, or higher.

You need this little piece from UPR. I have it in my car, and my clutch and brake pedal are just about even. Perfect.

94-04 Mustang Adjustable Clutch Pedal Stop

Takes all of 5 min. to install. Quick tip. If you are a big guy, like me, do yourself a favor and take the driver seat out before attempting to get up under the dash. It will make it a whole lot easier.

on your firewall where your cable goes in it has a round knob that u can turn. you have to loosen a allen screw and screw that knob in. i thought my clutch was going bad and come to find out the allen screw came loose and the knob was almost all the way out. i turned it and bam just like new

My UPR Adjustable Clutch Pedal stop just came in yesterday and I'm going to install it today. Before I start are there any picture instructions on how to do it? It looks pretty straight forward but I could use some pics just incase

Hey sorry to bump an old thread but does your cruise control still work after installing the UPR piece? I've been comparing the adjuster from UPR and MM and it seems like the UPR one would actually move the clutch quadrant travel so that it wouldn't hit the cruise control clutch safety switch anymore...

Thanks!
