Antifreeze smell and smoke through vent

My 2000 mustang gt busted a housing to the hose coming out of the back of the manifold and into my firewall. Its the housing right behind the throttle body. I tried plenty of times to put it back on with a clamp but there wasnt enough pipe to catch. So i just ended up putting jb weld on it then a clamp. The antifreeze I lost i just filled it up with water instead of coolant. But since then I have antifreeze smell in my car. At first i thought it was just a smell from the antifreeze that sprayed on my motor burning up from the heat of the engine. Then yesterday when I was driving the smell became more obvious and smoke came through my vents for a couple of minutes then it stopped after I pulled over and hasnt happened again. However it still smells like antifreeze. Any ideas what it might be and what I should do?

a manifold is cheap and easy to replace, you can pick up a used one on a site for about a hundred dollars or a new one for 180. a heater core is not that hard of a job to do and it cost 40 bucks.

not necessarily, the heatercore has a drain going right behind the motor to prevent that.

what are you nuts? you have to take EVERYTHING out of the car to change a heatercore. Dashboard, center console, seats, steering wheel, steering column. its a pain in THE ASS.

no, im talking to you like your giving misleading information to people. Clearly from your pictures its certainly obvious that its more than "not that hard" Ive pulled 7 of these out before and it takes a LONG time.
