thats a lot, id never pay that much, unless its been honed, cleaned decked etc ready to put parts in. Other wise you can find them for almost half that cost.

$500 is good price , if it runs even better .
Scrap/shredder ferrous price's are between 7-8$ per 100lbs so you can make some coin in what you don't want .
