Install of a Mach 1 chin spoiler on 04 GT
Hey guys thanks for the poll on leaving it black, Deff with 80+% saying it will look better that way..
I have decided that I want installed with it mounted back to be flush with the wheel well, my question is, when I install this piece, with this interfere with any overheating issues, like the stock small black wind director (I know from experience that with out that directing air cars will overheat) do I leave that there, lower it, leave it be. Basicly will putting on this mach 1 chin spoiler interfere with that at all?

There should be no issues with overheating whatsoever. Once installed, enjoy it and have no worries.

It will not mess with anything that would cause you to overheat. Just watch out for curbs and parking barriers.

you don't have to opt for the front or wheel well flush, you can have both!
Most people don't go through the hassle or maybe they don't know but you can install it so it's flush at the wheel wells and front. It's not easy but if you mount the 2 ends first flush with the wheel wells and then mount the center you can continue around the rest pulling nice and hard and it'll be flush with the front as well. After I installed my 03-04 cobra bumper I gave my buddy my old mach1 chin spoiler and told him to try it out and he was able to get it flush with both. Here's a couple pictures of it installed on his 04 GT: ![]()

just watch those parking blocks, or you will only enjoy it for a short time.
