I need new Brakes
Ok, so its time for new brake pads, I want something good, something that doesn't create a lot of dust and also doesn't squeak or smell terrible....
whats on there now is whatever the ford dealer put on them when the previous owner had the car, and they are almost dust free. I am assuming they are Motorcraft pads since they came from the dealer, but I could be wrong. Is there something better out there? anything I should look into?

if your rotors are fine still have them turned, always want a new surface when you put new pads on there. Or replace the rotors with just a good parts store white box.
I have had great luck with Oreillys and now advance's thermaquiets. Get a ceramic, they have little dust and noise.

I think my guy got some ceramic pads from Autozone and they still stink.
I will try oreillys and see what they have for me there.

From what I heard do not get ceramic, they make it easier to warp rotors. I bought hawk hps pads, I do not hear them at all, and stopping is far better than whatever I had on there before.

I agree with Ceramic Motorcraft pad's. Good price, usually, and good quality. They have like 3 lines, just make sure you don't buy the cheapest.
