What are my gains?

do some research and you'll see that both fit "good built converter"..

but by all means go DD if your set on it and would feel best...no reason not to...

theres nothing wrong with Alan's converters (dirty dog) & you can find 10" 3800 stalls cheap all over the internet (his converters all have serial numbers on them, if your looking at a used one, call him with the number & he can tell you all about it).
