I want to buy a GT-R and a Prius at some point, and keep my car as a street fighter since it's a convertible and not really suited for track work. I'll probably put another $7-8k into it over then next 5 years and be done with mods. It'll become the car I take out and do burnouts and doughnuts and other silly things in and not much else.
Prius?? How are you going to go from a v8 monster to a prius? I guess I could just never do that.

Prius??!! Na never that, lol.

I plan on keeping mine, til it gets totaled, breaks apart or I somehow come up on enough money to buy a 03/04 Cobra. I like this model and once a cobra engine/tranny swap takes place, then It'll be my "Collectible antique."

Having the best of both worlds haha, I've wanted to shoot myself in the face when driving my car through Miami traffic before, I think a Prius would be a great dd since the engine doesn't run when it's sitting still. My mom downgraded from her Infiniti to a Prius, and while I thought it was a really dumb decision at the time, I've grown to really like the car. If I have that, a lightly modified GT-R, and a roots supercharger in my car by the time I turn 30, I'll be pretty happy with myself

I'm keeping my pony till i die!!! Its a DD now with 52K, 4 more years till its paid off, hopefully I won't hit 100k by then. Then it will sit in the garage getting wrenched on and looking forward to the sunday cruise with the top down!! Maybe I'll let my son take it to prom... but if the turns out to be anything like me then it'll probably just stay in the garage..lol

lol I know the feeling. I'd like to pass it down to my son (who isn't born yet...6 weeks to go!), but it'll be awhile before I trust him with it.

My car was my first muscle car and the first car I bought and paid for myself. I don't plan to ever get rid of it unless it's to give it to my son.

i plan to hang on to it now. i got too much tied up into it to do anything else lol. just keep driving it, beating on it and replacing shit when it breaks. i'm glad i grew up a little and dont see it as a show car anymore, so much more enjoyment out of it using it as a street fighter/weekend warrior.

Seeing as how this was the second car i have driven, and being the first car i bought myself and its already paid off, i plan on keeping mine for a long long time! I always think it'd be cool to be 50, 60, 70 yrs old and still have my first car sitting in the garage.

To be honest sinister, when I first saw you quoting my post I was 95% expecting you say something dumb that involved calling me a pussy for wanting a Prius

But congrats on the SC, what are your plans next as far as the car goes?

Hey, I'm not exactly hating the rep. At least I let you know what to expect.

Haha, you're not half bad, so I tried to resist. I try to burnout and use as much fuel as possible when driving next to a prius... fuckin yuppies

Next mods are bigger brakes, ss lines, nt05r drag radials, then forged motor down the road.

I have had mine since new in 04' and I am attached to it, not mention into it for more than I paid for it new. I don't DD it so it just a pleasure car and eventually it will be gutted and caged but still want to be able to cruise it on the street now and then. As far as giving it to my kids, I'm afraid it would be too much for them.
