the Steeda pulley is not a piggy back its a direct replacement.

im in the same boat..... my starter was going out so i replaced it. the muther fucker just ticks now when i turn the key. dead as dog shit. had it towed to ford ad they said i needed a starter, fuse and a relay. so i replaced the relay fuse and starter and the pos still wont crank... havent tried turnin the motor by and but i really dont think its seized... cuz it didnt happen while driving.

funny thing is the starter selanoid makes a whirr sound but it doesnt fire... idfk

^I'm willing to bet your starter is drawing A big load trying t turn your engine but your engine wont turn over and its blowing the fuse and quite possibly the starter. Try turning your motor by hand

if the motor is siezed up the starter doesn't have enough torque to make it move so its drawing alot of power and popping fuses. kind of like if an AC compressors bearing goes bad it siezes up and draws a more current then usual and keeps tripping the fuse/circuit breaker. I'm not saying this is what your problem is but its what it sounds like, assuming you already tried a new battery. before jumping into conclusions try moving your engine by hand first (make sure its in n lol) .

For OP

4.6 mustang engine

looks like a Windsor in Dade City and who knows the real condition. But all the other options 5.4 or 4V sound better.

Good luck with it.
