Pulls while in grooves??????

The main road running through my city has some pretty old roads and they've got grooves from where cars tires have been traveling on for years. Since I got my mustang, I've noticed that when in those grooves, if i steer to the left a little bit i get pulled to the right and vice versa. It never did this in my jeep, so i was wondering if this in normal since my mustang is so much lower to the ground. If it's not normal, what could be causing it?

I think its pretty normal with our suspension. Happens to me all the time.

Ok good haha. That makes me feel better. When I first felt it i thought like my axle cracked or something and i was headed for a pole...

Yea the only way to solve that problem is to not drive in the groove. My car with the 9" wide fronts and 10.5" rear tires does this bad.

yeah... my 265's on the front do the same thing. It didnt do it like that with the 245's!

How does your car drive with the skinnies on the front?

like a champ! TBHWY...... it drives better with the slicks/skinnies than the 18" saleens!

The wider the tire, the more you'll feel that groove pull.

Try those grooves on a motorcycle, it's like trying to balance the damn thing on train tracks.

It can be hard to get out of them sometimes.

thats auto pilot boys....here in saskatchewan i dont even have to steer....gives me a chance to have a nap on the way home
