oh.. i didn't catch that.
blue oval is a good company to work with. i have bought items from them before. i also see that they are "bare" i would have a coat put on them before you install them at least. they look ok but remember.. you usually get what you pay for.

they are a good mod.
they stop your car from flexing while launching and they improve you handling. you will def. notice the difference after you install them. get them zinc plated before you install them to prevent rust.

You cannot weld on top of paint, primer I know this because I just did a full length subframe weld on my convertible.. i got the maximum motorsport XL version. Biiiiiiig difference from them stock " Toy Subframes " ! However I had to pay extra for the installer to be chipping & sanding the subframes down .. because i got the powder coated version. problem i coulda avoided had i gone with the bare metal version & simply painted them myself right after install |

yes you have to remove the paint from the weld spots.
you are also supposed to powercoat them before install. if you don't believe me go to http://www.maximummotorsports.com/ then click "install instructions" then click full length sfc. click this: MMFL-1 then read paragraph 4

just because "they" say to powder coat them before hand isnt true. Thats just cause they dont want ya saying "uh these are starting to rust whats up with that" then a replacement. I say paint em with what ever you want just dont paint the ends where its gonna be welded . Do that part after the welds cool. You have to do that on all welded subframe connectors. paint em with some primer and spray paint it will last believe me.
