Replacing OEM Clutch ABCs / Brake Upgrade
Two questions, when replacing the OEM clutch in my 2001 GT do I have to lube the assembly with anything?
I got one of those 13" front crossdrilled big brake rotor upgrades for the 99-04 GT, do I have to install the smaller back set also? Should I use the same brake fluid with the new steel braided brake-lines? |

Okay well you have to have the flywheel completely clean of anything! To do this you should take some brake clean and spray it and then take a lint free rag and wipe it off! If you dont do this you will end up having a warm spot on your flywheel where your clutch will slip! O and if you get or have the King Cobra clutch kit take it back now! Its a POS my throw out bearing is making so much noise and it has only 400 miles on it and it is also slipping and burning! So I have to take it back to the shop that put it in on Monday!
