Get some spherical/spherical Lower Control Arms (LCA's), a Panhard Bar (PHB), and a Torque Arm (TA), as well as some Full Length Subframe Connecters (FLSFC's).

You are correct. I called Griggs when I still wanted the universal suspension. They have an absolutely wonderful $6,000 suspension.

^ Agreed

BUT.... this all depends on what I asked in my post #9 earlier

.... what is your ULTIMATE goal here?

It is VERY difficult to do suspension mods efficiently and even MORE difficult to avoid spending a LOT more money than you had originally planned. I knew exactly what I wanted and STILL spent an extra $4K beyond what I thought would be "just fine". This was WAY after when purchasing my Saleen and thinking.... "The Saleen suspension is the shit and will have NO need to mod it at all. Besides... what could I possibly do to improve it?" (I actually said this, prior to puchasing it!)

I have since replaced litterally 100% of all the suspension components, purchases two full-sets of tires/wheels, race seats and .time in back you shift that brakes

This:

1999-04 Mustang GT Maximum Grip Box [GB-6] : Maximum Motorsports, the Latemodel Mustang Performance Suspension Leader!

or this:

Griggs Racing Products

Either of these kits will make your car handle like it's on rails and will launch with the best of them.....just install it and go. No thinking involved.

My post did that I even gave you links. Remember it will not be a smooth ride over the bumps and potholes like a Mercedes or BM. It is very stiff so you feel every bump but steers and handles like a dream. Parts for what I did came in around $1800. I already had the springs and did not add the Chassis brace package to my set up. You could save some cash using Tyco-D shocks and struts. They are still a good choice. It is a good combination of cornering and straight line. The costal roads here in Hawaii are sweet and have 25 MPH corners for a reason. I hit them at 45-50 MPH with a smile on my face.

Get it all in one package (of course you will need the package for your model year)
2002-04 Mustang GT hardtop Road & Track Box $2,437.12
2002-04 Mustang GT hardtop Road & Track Box [RTB-8] : Maximum Motorsports, the Latemodel Mustang Performance Suspension Leader!

Or piece it out money permitting
1999-04 Mustang GT Starter Box $1,130.13
1999-04 Mustang GT Starter Box [SBX-6] : Maximum Motorsports, the Latemodel Mustang Performance Suspension Leader!
HD Rear Lower Control Arms, 1999-04, with perch, swaybar $259.95
HD Rear Lower Control Arms, 1999-04, with perch, swaybar [MMRLCA-5] : Maximum Motorsports, the Latemodel Mustang Performance Suspension Leader!
Chassis Brace Package, 1998-04 Mustang HT, GT $357.87
Chassis Brace Package, 1998-04 Mustang HT, GT [MMCBP-43] : Maximum Motorsports, the Latemodel Mustang Performance Suspension Leader!
Front Grip Package, 1994-04 $557.46
Front Grip Package, 1994-04 [FGP-2] : Maximum Motorsports, the Latemodel Mustang Performance Suspension Leader!

(Both front grip package and starter box come with CC plates so there will be a $200 dollar savings if you decide to get both)

I wish it was that simple to dial in a fully adjustable aftermarket suspension.

Sounds like shocks/struts/springs, FLSFC, and some CC plates will do fine. He doesn't seem do be a die hard corner carver. With that you will have a firm starting point to go off of if you want more.

I had the exact MM kit I posted on my '03 GT and it was cake to adjust...I don't see why anyone else couldn't dial it in as long as they do at least a little homework as to how suspensions work and why.
