Intake manifold...I need a new one

Short run down. 03 2v, PP heads, cams, injectors, bolt ons, etc. NA the car ran a best of 12.2.
I need a new intake. Mine keeps leaking coolant. Here are my options.

1.stock PI
2. Aluminum Typhoon 3 piece from PP with current tb.
3. Edelbrock Victor Jr with adapter to use current accufab plenum and tb.
4. Edelbrock Victor Jr with aluminum elbow from MMR and current TB.

On the dyno, car makes good power up to around 6600. Tuner said the intake was the bottleneck. So if you have any experience, good or bad, with these setups, please share.

Forgot,no boost in my future. But when I replace the intake,on goes the nitrous and a new tune.

From what I understand, the stock intake is plenty for NA cars.

btw the typhoon is junk, dont run it, there is a couple of people who have it that swear its the best but do your self the favor and stay away from it. also for less money and be able to use your stock plenum is the hps hard baller intake which looks stock but flows nice and also brings it at the big end

its plenty for a stock sb motor but it sounds to me this guy is trying to push 7k, which i agree its then a problem. not a big one and you may not see a hole lot of gain na from it, but a little juice will fix it. btw the eddie is a nice manifold as well, never ran it and i dont know to many na guys using it so i cant chime in on it.

the mmr elbow for the eddie intake is expensive, go with the 6061 intake for it.

Do you have a link for this elbow? I've looked and can't seem to find it.

And to the above post,I'm planning on pushing it past 7k. Probably 7200.

honesly for a na car i would shoot for a manifold that is more setup for na app. the hps and tfs manifolds both have tapered runners which help with velocity and you wont loose so much bottom end. they both are shorter runners which helps with top end. flow wise they both put out what you need for your motor and i think you would net better results with them. but it sounds like you have your heart set on the eddie and it is a good manifold as well.

^I was thinking the HPS one as well, especially once he said nitrous.

OP, the HPS Hardball'r Intake can supposedly withstand nitrous backfires, which we all know is a VERY bad thing. I would look into that intake as well. But like stal said, you seem to have your heart set on an Eddy, so I would get that 6061 elbow with it IMO.

HPS, or option 4.
If you plan on goin FI I would do option 4. That is if you are going to use a turbo or centri.

I'm not set on the edelbrock. I listed it 2x because of the different ways to mount the TB,the elbow and the plenum adapter. I'm gonna look into this HPS intake. Anyone know if it will accept stock fuel rails?

I would def get the elbow, and not the adapter to use a traditional plenum. You will see greater gains witht the edlebrock when you boost.

Yes it will. It looks similar to the Typhoon, but it's a MUCH better intake.

That hardballer looks like it will work better than any I listed. Plus, they're made here in TEXAS,which is cool. Gotta suppor local businesses.
