i really wanted to get my car to brad for a tune but i knew it would be a total pita because i knew there were gonna be so many problems with getting my car tuned, so i used a local guy. I have been to mobile to race before. a lot of those guys from p'cola go to mobile to race. We have been trying to set up a mobile vs p'cola and ms race but the mobile guys are bitches and never get any cars together. they are worried about us dominating.. lol. I really wanna go to p'cola to race but i dont do the roll race thing. brad tuned my buddies tt cobra that he had. he was trying to sell the cobra to buy brads coupe but ended up trading the cobra for a 347 turbo fox. If we decide to go to mobile to race ill let u know because im sure some of the p'cola guys will ride to mobile and you can get up with them and ride over. is there a local p'cola forum? we have 2 local forums here where im at. Torqueaddicts.net and redlined.org. and then there is mobiledomestics.org. Thats where we try to set up the races with the mobile crew......

if i end up keeping my car ill probably just put a kit on it. If i wanna go faster ill probably swap to turbo before i upgrade the head unit. But ill really probably end up getting rid of it and going with something a little more extreme like a fox coupe with some big setup in it

i only have dyno vids of it. im going back on the dyno next month with my new slot style maf, 3.55 gears, detroit true track, 31 spline axles. last week i was on the dyno and at 16 degrees timing and a 5.5k pull my car put down 515 rwhp @ 451 rwtq. stock cams are going to kill me on my final dyno pulls. i hope to see 550 rwhp at 6750 rpm's and 21 degree's timing

Damn your on stock cams? Thats nuts. What about heads? 3.55s will be sick with that setup.

brad is the man, honestly last week i let someone else do power pulls only on my car and the crap he was telling me to do was junk. he wanted to run my meth pump 100% dc, and lean my car to 12.5 af, and run about 24 degrees timing. sure it would make a ton of power but its not worth having to take a taxi home when it brakes. i dont fear breaking motors and building new ones but being dumb is being dumb. i blew up my stock motor on purpose and in the past i have destroyed motors at the track. now i just want my car to push when needed and still atleast limp home.

i really need to do some upgrades on my setup that way i can get the maximum out of it... he had to tune it to 6400rpm because the maf and fuel were maxed. and its only at 14 degrees of timing. would be sick at around 18 degrees or so...

stock cams ported heads with bronze guides, comp high loads, titanium retainers, stock locks stock valves, time serts, and 18# of boost with a decent size meth shot. all this equals a setup that shocked my tuner.

posted this in the past, first pull made 511 rwhp 15 degrees timing 11.8 af, 92 degree bay.


2nd pull made 538 rwhp 18 degrees timing 11.8 af same 92 degree bay.

will have new vids and dyno sheets next month

what color is your car? there is a redfire gt from p'cola that has a setup similar to that and i have been wanting to get up with that guy and race. i think he made like 512rwhp or something like that... but i could have sworn it had a set of cams though

btw my car is a real bright red almost orange and i dont really ever leave niceville. im getting old now and i really dont take the time to see the races, nor do i feel i would ever really run any one. this car is going to be a weekend track car if anything.

just looked over your setup and damn you got that s trim pullied down. you got a great setup which i would think you make over 600 with, but i maybe wrong. kind of shocked you ran out of fuel so quick with the cobra pumps and a bap. im sitting pretty at 87% duty cycle.

man, honestly. i doubt i make over 500rwhp with the setup i have right now... it has stock heads and intake. but i think its tuned down so much that its just not getting the job done. I dont know why it ran out of fuel either... do you have stock lines and rails?

i was really disappointed with the way my car ran last weekend. Im goin back sunday and maybe get some better times, but the more i talk to people the more and more im disappointed... I really feel like the car should mph better than it is so far. It makes me wanna upgrade the fuel and maf and take it for a re-tune and see if it can make some real power...

stock rails lethal fuel line upgrade. 60# injectors, 40 amp bap. i do run a lot of supporting mods to keep my power levels up. shocking the ported heads with the tfs intake combo work great at bringing out the big end. that is where brad and everyone was shocked to see a 2v stock cams make so much top end past 6k rpm's

oh btw meth helps extend a fuel system quite and it allows me to run high timing with high compression. im a big fan of cheating to make power. my summer time iat's smash everyone elses, 92 degree day 82 degree iat's
