Front Squeak please HELP!

There is a horrible squeak coming from what seems to be my front suspension on both sides. It looks to me like the guy before me put a set of lowering springs on it and now some of the upper coils are touching which makes a metal on metal squeak. Does this make sense?

Sort of not really, the springs shouldn't be rotating so it shouldn't be rubbing on itself. The coils may contact but I don't think that would squeak? Could be wrong but I dunno. Check if he kept the isolaters in (rubber pads on top and bottom of the springs) if there are no iso's you could be getting some squeaking from the spring hitting the perches.

check to see if the boots on your ball joints are cracked/ripped, if they are they should be replaced asap. I have seen what happens when a ball joint goes out at low speed in 99-04 stangs (tire smacks the fender leaving some nasty dents). At high speeds it can cause a major accident.

If you have checked the joints and there is no play try squirting a little WD-40 in there to see if the squeak goes away. If it does replace the ball joint asap because it is a time bomb once all the grease dries up. I believe stock ball joints last about 90,000 give or take (less if you lowered and kept the stock A arms).

All Blake everything is right. Just replace those parts and you should be good to go.
