Good luck, i know what it is like when parts start coming, I spent a good month debating in my head between 3.73 and 4.10 so I compromised with the 3.90.
i have seen alot of stock motor sc stangs with about 400 rwhp pull 117-118 traps with 3.73's and my car pulls 126-128 in 4th with 3.73's so that does not give me a whole lot of head room for the track considering i make an extra 150 hp over a stock motor sc stang. 3.55's should get me around 138-140 mph which is plenty of head room considering later on i will be making over 600 to the ground once my setup is done. thats not to mention i wont even try to run my car at the track on street tires so it should help my short game out even with the 3.55's in

sounds like you already answered your own question.

IMO if your unhappy with your current setup then try the 3.55's out.
