I just use factory metal gaskets and the factory studs/nuts, never had a problem out of them. I put just the smallest dab of blue thread lock on there and never look back

theres about 4 or 5 bolts when installing long tubes that are a bitch to try and push the lock piece of the stage 8's on. Enjoy that battle lol

+1 for the stage 8 bolts, but the stock ones with lock tight work just as well and will save you around $50 and some time.

Ford OEM gaskets is the way to go for the header gasket

Sucks to be him then. Has he ever installed 4.6 long tubes? Anyone who has that I know either says "never doing it again" or "you will pay me alot of money"

+1 on stage 8 bolts. I've used then on two installs. The only thing worse than installing long tubes, is installing leaking long tubes.

I just installed Bassani Mid length headers and used Stage 8 locking bolts. Bassani headers are soooo easy to install because each tube is seperate and bolts on by itself, Man that makes it such a pleasure to install. I also used percy seal 4 good gaskets, which are cheap and re usable.

use ford studs or make sure you buy actual header bolts, then dab some blue locktight on there and ull be straight.
