Need a new steering wheel... Options??

Well my steering wheel is pretty messed up. According to the previous owner the lotion that he used made it deteiorate so its pretty much shot. What options do I have to fix it??

That wheel never came stock with GT's it is a way nicer steering wheel its way thicker overall its just a way better steering wheel.

Dude, grip one before you knock it (and yes, that is what she said). I took an '03 Cobra in on trade once that had one installed and the whole feel was different. Much more controlled in your hands. It is a FAR superior steering wheel and in-person you can definitely just see that it's a higher quality wheel.

And if you can't tell how much thicker the wheel looks in the first picture you sir are blind like Helen Keller. I know the picture might not look like it is that much of a difference but if you have ever felt one or driven in a car that had one installed you would notice a huge difference.

Lol yes it is.. Its much thicker and has alot better feel to it with the perferated leather.. It actually feels like a steering wheel in a sports car.. I plan on getting one and having it covered in suede..

Then you have no airbag so when you get in a car crash because you think you are some race car driver because you have a racing steering wheel you are screwed. GG

Yea that would feel and look really cool if you smash your face into it in an accident.. And most tracks dont allow these without the use of harnesses harness bars and sometimes even seats.. And in most states its illegal to take out the airbag on a car that came equipped with it..

only thing with this tho, is the hub is way smaller, and it doesnt look god where it bolts up. im sure u could rig some kind of cover?

Another option is the 10th anniv steering wheel off of the cobras.. that thing is sooo nice but expensive if you can even find one..

you can get OEM wheels in most color leathers & also vinyl straight from the dealer & their suprisingly cheap.
