Aviator Fuel Pump

I am 99% positive I am picking up a DD next week, which means the mustang is ready for some attention.

I have a great opportunity to get a aviator fuel pump, very cheap compared to new, from a friends that was just involved in a head on collision. Car only had 29,xxx miles.

What modifications are needed to get one of these working in our cars? Any reason not use one of these? Any advise from actual users would be appreciated.

They are a direct replacement on our cars just like the SVT Focus pump, no modifications required like some other pumps. Mine made 420rwhp before starting to go lean. Very good pump from my experience

Im having no problems with a ford gt pump. It wasn't a straight swap but the modifications needed were minor and it was still pretty easy. If the aviator pump goes in like the gt pump you will spend more time wrestling with the gas tank than swapping pumps. That said... if you are only going to have a bolt on gt there isn't any need to bother with the pump and you should just let it go.
