Cat Delete = Better Gas Mileage?

Would a cat delete on a 2000 mustang gt drop my gas mileage?

Looking to cut them and replace them with pipe. Wondering if it would hurt my MPG. Also, if I don't replace the two rear O2 sensors will it effect my performance or just pop the check engine light on?

You can get an O/R H-pipe from Jegs for pretty cheap. Which is what I would do instead of hacking up the stock one.
I dunno what it would do to gas mileage because I give two-tenths of a f*ck about my gas mileage.
Use these for your rear O2s :

Absolutely not. Your mileage will improve without having the cats clogging up your exhaust

So by this statement your saying that having a more free flowing exhaust will help my MPG?

The back 2 o2 sensors only monitor catalitic converter efficiency. So you cel will come on but it's nothing to worry about. Buy a tuner and shut them off
