ebay headlights

After seeing alot of guys here getting ebay headlights i thought why not. I have already gone through AM for replacments and didnt feel like spending 200$ for another set. So i do ebay. Shipped fast looks great, sealed them up pluged the lights in and the damn things will not sit all the way back in for me to slide the clips in. Did anybody run into this. They look like they are all the way in..there is enough room to run some wire but i dont know if they need to be muscled in or what..ok only have a few beers so any quick help would be great!!

Side note..got one set factory smoked with amber corners..one set chrome clear corners and one set of clear fog lights that need a new home

Pics of the smoked ones? Believe it or not my ebay smoked fit better than the stock though the stock ones plastic seal made of a better rubber.

tell me how good they work, because i have some 35w hids, and i might use those for my foglights and order some 55w if it really dims the lights

What do you mean by nasty yellowish color? If you mean the light from it then HIDs would fix it.

^ya thats what i mean...the stock lights dont look good imo...i was just wondering what kind of bulbs the ebay ones used. I didnt see it, i probably just overlooked it. Cause it would be sweet if they were HID's...but then they'd probably be too good to be true.

i guess it'd be a pretty easy little upgrade though to throw in some HID's...might as well if the lights are smoked. I dont like the brightness of the lights cause i completely HATE when im driving and someone blinds me with their lights that are way to bright. But i think with the smoked lights it'd be ok.

^haha thats exactly what happens with me...its so weird though how its only at night. Some hid's are definitely worse than others, i just dont wanna be "that guy" that blinds everyone on the road. I like the color of the lights though, i like that natural light color better than that yellowish color. Thats why i think smoked headlights would be perfect...

i'd like to smoke my tails also and get a gloss vinyl for my rear panel, but my dad hates blacked out/smoked headlights and tail lights. I would never hear the end.
