Time for a new motor...

So my motor blew, sucks! So any opinions on what i should do? Im going to go forged internals! The guy i took it to basically said i should find a motor or someone to build it because everybody he has called would rip me off and take 5 months doing it.

I have a KB supercharger and its for a 2v so i cant just swap a full cobra motor into it without losing 6 grand from the KB. Can the 2v heads go into the 4v easily? Will anything else have to change if i swap the motor? Guy i dyno'd at said i should do that and it would be cheap and work damn good! But i thought there was more to it than just swapping the motor and putting 2v heads on it for the supercharger.

Another option i was thinking of was a DSS supermod block, http://www.dssracing.com/newsupermod.htm
But I was told they didnt do that great of motors? I thought it looked pretty good.

Please help!

Also they blamed the failure to waterlock, so the warranty wont cover it.

you should find what your looking for here http://vtengines.com/main.htm

why would you put a cobra motor in and then put 2v heads on it??? that just wouldn't make any sense since the reason you would get a cobra motor is to have a 4v. But I agree that you shouldn't do that. get yourself a new 2v from VT and throw that KB on it and be happy!

sorry to hear about the blown motor
