Underdrive pulleys...

Should I go with BBK or Steeda, or does it really matter?
Also, is there a noticable difference?

I heard Steedas were better because they don't come with piggy backs not sure on the BBK's. I don't know by experience because I have a supercharger

Piggyback means that instead of the kit comming with a new replacement crank pulley, you leave your stock one on and bolt the "piggy back" pulley onto the stock crank pulley, and run the belt around the new smaller pulley. These are bad because they add extra weight to the crankshaft.

Steeda pullies are a direct replacement, you take your stock crank pulley off and put the new smaller one on. Works out alot better and are more reliable. Go with Steeda, you get what you pay for. Never heard of anyone having a problem with theirs.

Damn! That sucks. I guess I'll stick with buying Steeda then. Besides that I don't trust RPMoutlet.

Don't always believe everything you hear. I've bought more than one thing from them and both items were at my door in less than 5 days.

I don't usually unless I have heard it from enough people. And I have heard it hear, and seen complaints on 3 or 4 other forums. So thats enough to tell be to keep away, and besides there's plenty of other good places to buy from. Glad to hear you had good transactions though.

Well everyone on here I hear complain about them didn't not get thier stuff, they just didn't get it as quick as they would have liked. I don't really think that is a reason for other to write off a vendor that has pretty good pricing. I just wanted other to know there is another side to the story.
