I have been looking for a Prochamber for a week now, can't get one locally and wanted to avoid buying from a supplier in the states if at all possible, I always get screwed at the border.

Has anyone ever had their cats cut out of the stock H pipe and just welded in pipe in place? Or even gutted their cats and welded them back up?

No input from anyone who moddified their stock pipe? I was either thinking on installing high flow cats in place of my stock ones, or just cutting them out all together and welding in pipe.

Anyone ever do this?

I don't know it doesn't sound like such a good idea. I know there's a guy on here that gutted his cats, but I don't think he cut them off to do it, but I don't know. My only thing is that when you weld it back together the welded spots will disrupt the flow of air.

Yeah that is a good point, but I dont' think it be a bid deal. I grew up working at a shop and a lot of older cars with plugged up cats would come in and we'd just gut them, kinda gave the car a hollow tone, I want to avoid that so thought about just cutting them out and replacing them with tubing.

I'll probably just end up getting an O/R H pipe I guess, I just really wanted the prochamber, but they're not easy to get up here, and if I get one from ebay, I will be charged a lot of fees across the border.

I found a used one in D.C., have to call the guy tonight, see what that brings.

Just go with the set of high flow cats or get an O/R setup.

I can get 2 magnaflow SS high flow cats for $100 shipped, that a good alternative for me, or just get an O/R H pipe locally.
