hey 00,
i had a similar code just a different cylinder. I had to replace the cam position sensor and it went away. about 15 dollar fix, also with mine the longer i went w/o changing it the worse it ran. Just food for thought bud. Good luck!

thanks, man. i just did some research on it, and it looks like worst case scenario, it's caused by a burnt exhaust valve, best case, something minor, like a bad sensor or injector. thanks again. if anybody else has any input, please share.

i had a couple of misfire trouble codes and come to find out there was a bracket on the back of the driver side valve cover that had stripped one of the wires. If I got on it hard enough it would short the wire and cause a misfire for me. We removed the bracket, put some electrical tape around the wire and went on our. haven't had a problem since.

you have a cylinder 6 misfire. normally caused by a bad coil pack. Its not a cam sensor and usually if you have chaffed wires it more than one code. Swap the numbert 6 coil pack with the number 5 or 4 and then if it follows then replace the coil pack. If not you have a bad plug or injector. Then do the same with the plug and injector. Easy trouble code you havce there.

so the stealership's had my car since about 9 this morning and i just talked to the guy (i had to call him). he said the shop foreman "thinks it might be the timing". now maybe i'm all fucked up, but wouldn't that cause a misfire on the whole left bank? i got a bad feeling like the stealership's trying to fuck me.
