Think im Running Rich?

Yeah i swear my car is running real rich, when it idles theres a slight smell of gas, and when i get on the pedal and then idle again smells like mad fuel. and theres always a black powder stuff on my rear bumper. how can i fix this?

Wow that is like crazy rich right there lol. If i got a tuner would that be jus as fine or should i just take it to a shop and have them tune it?

if you don't know how to tune it i would recommend getting a professional tuner

Oh cool. one more question, am i running any risk by running my car rich or is it ok for now. jus dont want any detonation happening

i would definitly say yes it could foul out your plugs or you could get detonation

you won't get detonation if your running rich. you get detonation when running lean.

running rich will wash the oil off of your pistons though. which is also very bad

it really depends on how rich your running man.
i would have to see it running to be honest.
i would be on the safe side and not run it until you get it fixed though

Wow i didnt think it was that serious if a car ran rich, so im assuming getting on the pedal isnt the best while its running rich huh
