Head's up from Ford Racing on Cobra Brake upgrade

If you're thinking about upgrading your 99-04 GT brakes to the Cobra/Brembo, the rear rotor bracket kit and the rear calipers are not going to be available until September. I called Ford Racing to confirm that the part will NOT be cancelled. Mine are already ordered from www.stangsuspensions.com - who called to give me the word and who have always provided great customer service (+ military discount).

If you get the cross drilled Cobra rotars along with the Cobra Callipers than you will need to paint them. They are not Zinc coated and rust immediately. I am pretty sure blueovalindustries.com has them in stock. Good luck.
