The buttons have green film behind them, so switching to a white or blue bulb won't make it white or blue

If they are the same type of film as the dash lights, you might be able to use a small, fine dremel and take the film off from the back of the buttons? Theres a vid on youtube of a guy grinding all the film off the rpm/mph gauges and they looked sick after

Lol yep I did the exact same thing they did in in that vid to get my gauges blue as well, its a PITA.

Oh really? Ya it looks like a pita. Now in that video i just posted, the guy holds it up to the light and the film looks green. I thought it was actually blue and the yellowish halogen lights made it look green. I just ordered a bunch of leds to replace them and was told it would show through the stock blue film and actually look blue. Do you know which way it is?

If you had a 99 to mid 01 car all you have to do is a bulb change, your 03 will have to have the green grinded off and replaced with blue film and cool white LEDS.

Don't know about that whole mid 01 deal. My car is a Feb. 01 and had the green film. Just saying, don't be fooled by it, check first.

Man that shit you need to check yourself! You can't take another persons word on this kind of thing. The 99-04 have, what it seems like, a wide variety of gauge clusters.
