Just bought 02 Bullitt!

Definately replace the driver side skirt before you paint the car...then strip it down and paint it Dark Highland Green, the color a Bullitt should be

Got different panels as well! I have a 03-04 side skirt on the driver side and the original Bullitt side skirt on the passenger side, My car was T-boned though!

Have you ever seen bullitt bro. Steve McQueen drove a 67 highland green bullitt. That's why you would want a green bullitt. These new edge bullitts are meant to replicate the original.

Does it have the Bullitt sticker on the driver's side shock tower? That is another way to tell.

Highland green may have been McQueen's color in the movie and it is great but keep in mind there were only 723 True blue bullitts made, and 3041 highland greens, and 1818 black as well. Paint it True blue. It's a beautiful color when its not neglected and actually shines...

Idk I like to kick it to the classics. Like if I were to buy a Mach 1 it would be yellow like the original Eleanor. Or a gt500 I'd get metallic grey like the new Eleanor.

Although I do have a tiny soft-spot in my heart for the True Blue Bullitts because I like that color.

It sounds like Flowmaster mufflers have rocks in them. I hate the sound, just sounds awful to me. Some setups sound pretty good. Like I think mell0's setup is the best flowmaster Ive heard.

Anybody know where I can get a new side skirt for it??? I can't seem to find one.. I also want to get the stock wheels but with black inner spokes and a silver lining also deeper then the stocks. I am gonna keep it true blue too.

You can watch Ebay, they pop up on there from time to time, but they're getting pretty rare and expensive. Most Bullitt guys who destroy theirs go to '03/04 Cobra sideskirts, since they're as close as you can get, they just don't have the integrated mudflap, but they're flat down the side like the Bullitt sides.
