I think it depends on the particluar county... I've lived in Orlando for 10 months now and haven't had any emissions tested on my car yet.... but I still haven't changed my tags yet either...

I LIVED IN FLORIDA ALL MY LIFE, CURRENTLY I LIVE IN MIAMI AND THEY STOP EMMISSIONS ABOUT 4-5 YEARS AGO.NO MORE HOURS UNDER THE STANG SWITCHING MIDS PIPES.THANK GOD FOR THAT.

Hey zkid, once you get your car in hawaii I would register it here. If your military its only 20.50 to register it, and 14-15 bucks for a saftey check. No emission laws.
