See how bad that gap is....
You might be able to take it of, heat it, and try to bend it out a little at a time. Worth a try....

I had the same problem with mine.... I even bought a supposedly OEM one from blue oval industries....just an FYI don't buy from these guys cause their stuff didn't fit worth a crap! The chrome running horse was glued to the bracket all wrong and the horse ran down hill on like a 15 degree angle...very poorly constructed. The lower panel was way too narrow from left to right and I had like over a 1/4" gap on one side. It did have the small pegs on the bottom like the oem panels have, but I ended up going to Ford and picking up the panel for like 30 bucks and it fits perfectly. Bought a new running horse from AM and it was perfect as well. So long story short....don't buy from BOI.

Mine doesn't fit perfect either. I think it's one of those things that only we notice. It doesn't bother me a whole lot.
