Wired in a circuit to have traction control turn off automatically (vid)

This circuit turns off traction control as soon as I start my car. As opposed to turning off the system with my handheld tuner, the TC switch still works and I can turn the system back on if it's raining severely or snowing outside

If there's enough interest, I can start selling these circuits prewired with instructions. My e-mail is jerry@mustangkeyless.com

Nope , this circuit only turns off the TC, just as if you were hitting the switch to turn it off. The ABS is not affected at all.

You seem to be on your shit with car wiring/electronics you need to start your own bizz with all of it just like that pushstart setup you have. Just an idea.

I second this.

Jerry, there are a million different things I'd like to do to my car that involve wiring, and to think of doing them gives me the heebie jeebies. Reps for being an innovator. Next time I get a great idea of how to make our cars better, I'll PM you and see what you think. I might just be able to give you the million-dollar idea...but I'd want 90% of the return.

Thanks for the support guys! Really appreciate it. If I receive 3 or more orders, they'll be $30 each including all wiring, electrical connectors, and instructions shipped to the lower 48 states. The only tools required are pliers and a 8mm socket. Install took me a little over 15 minutes, there are only 3 wires to connect and 1 wire to ground, so it's pretty simple.

@Jay Sounds like a plan bro, I'm always interested in fresh ideas. I've probably rewired 25% of my car already, just haven't bothered with making a youtube video for each little thing lol. Btw when we gonna smoke some cigars and hit the track?

@cedsks the first schematic I drew up was based on a 555 timer and capacitor and had a 5 second delay before the trigger charge was released. When I slept on it though I kinda figured it to be a bit redundant so the design I have now is simpler. Just a rectifier diode and a relay controlling the activation charge.

@bigjohnstud4200 yeah unfortunately in our cars the TC system is dependent on the ABS system, so if the ABS goes, so does the TC. It's a pretty common issue but probably isn't a huge deal unless you drive in the rain or snow a lot.

I agree with your simplification off the 555 timer, if u are selling them for 30 I would take one if it is inclosed in a project box.... Otherwise for that money I would pass.... Just an idea if u are going to sell alot of them, PM me to arrange payment if it is in a plastic project box....
