I'm still looking to see one in person. It is cool though that ford is so tough their letting the paint out. If I had one I wouldn't want to see non mystic cobras with the same paint.

he's talking about a Mystic COBRA!!! bad ass and rare! it has mystic paint that changes colors as you walk around it, a color only available in 96 for the cobra.

GOTCHA! ive never seen one. But sounds cool. Ive seen cobras with that style paint job.. and i know my buddy as sprayed a few.

available in 96 for the cobra.

1996 and 2004.

1996 was a green, purple, black

2004 was more of a blue, green, purple, black

no all 94 cobras were red and were offical Indy pace cars! only 1000 made!

OK because there is a guy around here with what must be a '04 Mystic Cobra, but I always thought he got his custom painted because his was darker and more blue/purple than the other ones that seem more green/blue. I didn't know the paint changed in 2004.

My nextdoor neighbor has a black 04 cobra coupe and an 04 Mystic vert....i like the black better...but the mystic is rare....guess im not really a fan of the color-changing paints....but its definately sweet, it has something like 3k miles or something low...both stay in a heated garage...rich bastard!
