Hard to shift

so when im driving "normally" not going past/ or around 2k rpms its kind of hard to put it into gear, but its not that bad, when im driving going past 2k rpms its a real bitch to change gears.

is that the clutch cable, because the firewall adjuster is turned all the way out. and i think i might have to adjust it from the transmission

You'd be suprised how much a fluid change helps, feels like a whole new tranny now.

heres a little update, i didnt change the fluid yet, since it was changed not to long ago when the engine was replaced, and the clutch cable is new to my knowledge.

what i did was, i screwed in the firewall adjuster back to the firewall, then went under my car and took off the dust cover and a nut had fallen out, that nut was the "locking" nut to the cable.... i think...

there where two nuts in all, and when i looked up how to install a new clutch cable, in the pictures there where just two nuts next to each other, sooooo i screwed it back together, and i screwed it on tighter, to were i could barley put the dustcover back on.
then i readjusted at the firewall.

i took it for a spin and this is what happened, it shifted fine when going slow, but when i stepped on the gas, it was hard to take out of first gear (it wouldnt come out untill the rpms lowed) and so on through out the grears, i parked it went to the store came back, and then when driving it just kind of felt like i had to jam it into gear.

i have a steeda short throw shifter, if that helps too
