Professional Products Manifold

Hey guys my buddy has for a sale a professional products ported intake manifold he wants to sell me it for 300 cuz it has a broken screw(this isnt the concern) im wondering if it will make that much of a difference in power or if should just save the 300 for something else. Thanks

It's likely you'd lose power with that thing, many others have before you.

Because the stock PI intake outflows the Professional Products aluminum intake.

I'll be honest with you... You can fault Ford for a lot of things on the Mustangs, but the one thing they truly got right is the intake manifolds. No replacement intake in the same price range has outperformed the stock plastic PI with a throttle body and plenum below 5800rpm on stock or mildly modified cars.

None of the high dollar replacement intakes from anyone has outperformed the Bullitt intake below 5500rpms yet.

So the one good thing I can say about these little 2V engines is that Ford put the best intake on them for 90% of their owners from the factory.

there are a few that picked up HP but thats only because they are boosted. That manifold on a N/A car gets heat soaked bad.
