You could also do a 3v swap to easily get to your horsepower goals. They were 300 hp from the factory as well. You use your stock exhaust, ECU, and wiring harness. You should be able to pick up a low mileage 3v at the junkyard fairly cheap. You then get the Logan Motorsport adapter and a Cobra throttle body and cable. You need to lock out the variable timing on the cam, and a few other small parts. There are a few threads on this swap as well.

badass n/a motor + a blower cant go together. (im sure its been said already)
Badass n/a motor and nitrous go together like lamb and tuna fish!! And yes you will need to upgrade the internals if you are looking for real power. You will have to change the pistons anyway to get high compression for that "badass n/a" motor you are speaking of. forged internal, high compression n/a 4v motor plus nitrous is the way to go. Im running good power on my blower but if i could go back, id probably go n/a 5.4 4v motor with a 200-250 shot and BLOW AWAY my supercharged 4.6!!but badass n/a motor and blower dont go together. I guess you could run maybe 5 pounds of boost. but that would be shitty to be limited to 5 psi. lol.

Checked out the thread for the mark VIII swap. Seems straight forward, with a little fab and some extra parts for eve4ything to work right.

it's what i plan on doing one of these days. from what i've heard the internals in the mark viii are the same as the 2v. to get more than 400ish out of it, you'd probably be best to upgrade.
