I also run 3:73's with my Procharger. Im pretty sure I would run outta gear at the end of the track with 4:10's and Id run slower having to shift into 4th

I think 4.10s are a better choice if you want to accelerate hard.

That is easily corrected via taller tires (i.e. I run 275/60/15 tires and I don't run out of gear at the end of the track going as fast as 117MPH).

I think 3.73's are my best bet for my current tire setup. that should put me hitting 4th gear as soon as I am through the traps.

also seems like your just dumping the clutch launching at 3k. i got a 1.9 60' on stock tires and that was from feathering the clutch a little off the line and that launch was from 2700rpms.

I can't launch around 2700 because with my cams and blower combo on stock gears I take to long to get in the power band

im hitting 110mph at the top of 4th with 4.10's. that's with 5800rpm redline with new cams i'll be shifting at 6400rpms, anyone got a clue as to what my mph will be at the top of 4th with the added rpms?

one thing though, if your getting to 5800 rpm in o/d & that only gets you 110 mph something is very wrong.
