taking the axles out
Hey do you remove the c-clips that hold the axles in, I already removed the pin un the dif. Its giving me some problems, any input would be very helpful

remove abs sensore that is buy the breaks, then the axles will slide far enough in
. use magnet to get the c clip out and bada bing the axle will slide out ( this is once you remove the center pin)

yeha like zinc said, the abs sensor has to be removed to push the axles in enough to remove the c-clips. Just be careful when removing the axles and reinstalling them. You can ruin the axle seals pretty easy. Just be gentle.

The seals are the reason im removing them lol......what type of socket do you use for the abs sensor?

i think its a 8mm, and i used a wrench
be careful mpot to snap the bolt becasue it is very small

I think its smaller but the bolt has a different head, I haven't seen it before

i went through and fixed all your miss spelled AXLES
sorry it was bugging me. Its not a 8 mm socket. It is a special socket that almost looks like a female torx bit

I am working on it now, the flange to the pinion gear is being a bitch but im not doing bad for jack stands and now air tools

i know the rear isnt difficult, Ive had mine out numerous times. I was talking about the ABS sensors incase you needed them

^^ EDIT: Not the same.. a saftey torx is like a regular torx with a hole in it. Whats needed is a female torx.
