Knocking noise from tranny???

Seems to me that every time I put my foot in the clutch I hear a knocking noise sounding like it maybe coming from the tranny.. I have no idea what it is, my bullitt has done it since I bought it. Is this a normal thing??? It doesn't seem to be effecting anything, the noise kinda scares me though..

since you say it happens when you put the clutch in, then I would guess its the TOB (TOB= Throw Out Bearing)

That definitely sounds like a throw out bearing. Some thing happened on my ranger and it was a throw out bearing

The TOB in these cars suck. If the clutch fork wasn't at an angle it wouldn't be a problem imo. When you replace, get the FRRP one, plastic TOBs last even less time.
