A big shot of N2O or H/C/I and exhaust and you may be able to take a stock one.

lets see...

they have around 320hp
we have around 260hp

65 extra hp ought to do it.

in other words, if you dont want to spend over a grand in bolt-ons, suspension and tires....

put a small shot on it and roll on his ass!

with those you'll be close, it depends on driving skills, i would say and this is my opinion, get pulleys, get a 70 to 75mm throttle body, plenum, headers and x pipe and you should be able to take them down as long as LS1 Has min. bolt ons, other then that, nitrous or S/C will solve all your problems!!

Oh forgot tuning with a dyno!!

Ive raced and beat a Ws6 Transam Auto from 30mph roll had him by about a car and a half at around 90 when we shut it down but he was starting to pull and I have all the bolt ons you can do to our cars minus heads and cams he only had borla catback and a k&n w/ whisper lid. he runs 13.6-13.8's at the track best ive ran was a 13.9 but havent gone back since ive got my headers. in need of some tires though cause if we had ran from a stop I think it would of been just the opposite..

Guy I know has a 2001 SS w/ Heads; Cams; full exhaust LT's and SLP Catback dynoed at 436rwp. Ran him just for shits and giggles the other night and it was depressing you could of drove two semis in between the gap of our cars lol.. he runs 11.7-11.9 on drag radials 12.1-12.2 on street tires.

my goal is 12 sec car (12.6-12.8) on street tires im thinking once I get my heads and cams and some decent street tires ill be there.. Hopefully
Dont wanna run Drag Radials Till I upgrade the axle to 31 spline seen it too many times people jacking up there rear end due to high launches using Drag radials or slicks

Yeah he was doing 5k launches clutch went first then in time the rear end followed he put 31 spline and king cobra and never had another problem with her and he would drop the clutch like that several times a week just cruising the street.. ended up totaling it out though hydroplaned.. now he has a 96GT w/ PI heads; cams with a charger on it from a 99 S281 but its kinda rigged up runs low 13's but he has all kinds of hell with it

at a 103mph i was getting 13.6 on street tires. i got 13.22 on my slicks at 103. with a better set of gears i would get lower than that. 4.10's will see 13.3-4 on a good launch and street tires. on radials or slicks 12.8 should be a good goal.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.

One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
