Nice looking battery box. Did it come with some kit? Can you whip out a link for me?

The tray sits on that shelf. It doesn't look TOOO bad but there's a huge wire loom running over it that either needs to be hidden, or covered with some fabbed up sheet metal..I haven't quite figured out a solution to make it a cleaner look. My car is covered in snow otherwise I'd add my pics to the mix lol

Very true haha. I'd love to relocate the radiator overfill tank in that spot, MMR had a kit but i think it was pretty expensive. That and the power steering. and maybe a catch can lol

when they say it won't pass nhra rules, does that mean you can't race in events or not at all, like at the track at all? test and tune sort of stuff? i'm confused.

They will not let you run period if they are following the rules, even during T&T.
If you put the battery in the trunk it has to be bolted down with 2 - 3/8" bolts and vented to the outside and you will need a master shutoff switch that disconnects the battery and kills the engine. So you have to run the alternator positive lead to the master switch.

I'm pretty sure there are reasons, such as liability during an injury due to the kit, but that's just gay...

Just measure the battery tray and the height of your battery, there's your measurements. Some of the SC kits use the battery area for the coolant box. There is a company that makes a stand alone fuel tank for nitrous, then you can put race gas in the tank to mix with your nitrous.
