My bad, I was talkin about the Vic jr when I mentioned the 4150 carb flange. The manifold has spots that can be tapped for injectors. They sell edelbrock rails but I have heard of some that use the stockers with some modifications.

it will be able to go more of course. that 62mm is good up to 850hp which i probably ownt ever hit. i wanna build myself up like i said though. start out at like 400 after a few months go to 450, few more months or however long it takes to get used to it 100% and then go to 500 and just go and so on and so forth.

it might be alot of money but i love cars and to me its an investment in my own passion

A 62mm Turbonectics will never see 850h, esp with the AR they give you. My 6768 t4 .96AR Billet wheel Precision is good for 935hp. If I want anything above 750rwhp I will upgrade to a 71mm or 74mm. You have the find it's best range of operation.

The Billet wheel over the cast. Billet is lighter(spool faster), much stronger(can spin faster), moves more air per psi over a cast wheel.

Some people say the cast is better or the same as a cast wheel. but I like my billet turbo

well shit if it comes down to it once i max out that turbo ill just get a bigger one if its that easy. i dont wanna go to big just cuz i dont see myself really getting into the 8 to 900 hp range. if it will do 600hp or 650hp i think it would be just fine with me.

ive heard nothing but good things about billet wheel turbos and the more i talk to people the more i realize almost everyone uses them and a few select people for whatever reason say cast is better cuz of some crazy observation. keep the advice coming lol before i deploy i want my list finalized and already partially purchased with some simple things i can get!!!!!!!

Someone mentioned that trickflows don't require notched pistons for cam selection, could someone clarify why?

trickflows dont require notcing really because the way the valves are you have so much PTV clearence...

and yea like scott said...a billet wheel is lighter and the way it is designed..you make more hp per psi and its just so much more efficiant...

and with a turbonectics 62mm it will be maked out around 550-580 i would figure...

everything looks good... no need for a viper spec if you only want 600hp...just find a cobra take out that has a 26spline input shaft in it already with the clutch, flywheel, and everything you will need... can be picked up for about 2200 bucks...

Notched pistons aren't the shit, but are needed if you want to run longer duration cams at the most optimum lobe center. First decide which cams you want and then decide if you need to get them notched. You can run long duration cams without notches but your power will be poor. In that case you're better off going with shorter duration cams with a lower intake LC.

Also, the last thing you want are wide lsa (114-118) cams and a single plane intake like the edelbrock, together they'll make horrible pre-boost power (driveability will suck). Stick with moderate duration, tight LSA and low intake LC cams, you will be much happier. Oh, and don't let anyone tell you that a tight LSA won't work with a turbo because the a/f will be blown out the exhaust during the overlap period. That's been proven wrong over and over because there is more pressure in the exhaust (between the valve and turbo) than in the intake.

hahah sweet im gonna have to check that out as well. lol this could be alot cheaper build then i predicted it to be!!! only reason i wanted the viper spec is the of the .52 or .50 6th gear ratio to give me that really low 6th gear for trips home since i wont be flying anymore with the way TSA is handling pat downs.
